Hijrah Year 1442H: Imbibe The Lessons of Hijrah, Oloriegbe Charges Muslim Faithful

The chairman Senate Committee on Health, Dr. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe representing Kwara Central at the National Assembly has urged the Muslim faithful to reflect on and also imbibe the lessons that accompany Hijrah Celebration. 

The call was made in a statement he issued in Abuja to felicitate with the Muslim brethren on the celebration of the new Hijrah Year.

"The celebration of Hijrah is symbolic as it marked the migration of the Holy Prophet from oppression to the comfort zone prepared for Him and the Ummah by Allah. The lesson therein for us is to always commit our affairs in God's hand as our comfort zones are best determined by Him." The lawmaker said.

He added, "As we have the privilege of migrating into another Hijrah year, we should ensure we remain steadfast and committed to every good deed and leave behind the negativities in our past. Only through that, we can have a reformed living that will reflect on the developments and aspirations of our nation. Wishing you all a prosperous celebration."
