Kwara Falcons Basketball Club has defeated the Invaders of Ekiti on a scores of 67 -50 at the ongoing 2021 Edition of the Men's Premier Basketball League.
The team recorded this win at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Akure Stadium, Ondo State where the ongoing League is taking place.
This win qualifies the Falcons to clinched the final Eight (8) league in Lagos, after they have recorded five (5) winning games in a roll.
Their next match comes up tomorrow against Coal City, Enugu.
The athletes and officials were in high spirit to receive the Director-General, Kwara State Sports Commission, Dr. Steve Olarinoye who was in Akure to cheer up the athletes. He delivered the goodwill messages of His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kwara State, the Executive Chairman, and members of the sports commission.
The excited DG on behalf of the commission donated some token to the team to serve as a motivation to them for a job weldone.
