Kwara Gov Greets Prof. Oba Abdulraheem At 74

 

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated Prof. Oba Abdulraheem, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, on his 74th birthday anniversary, praying God to grant the former vice chancellor of University of Ilorin long life and good health.

 

In a statement made available to our medium on Saturday through his Chief Press Secretary Rafiu Ajakaye, the Governor said the Professor is a man with profound achievements as an academic, former administrator, and community leader.

 

“Professor Oba, the Talba Ilorin, is a party and community elder who is well respected by all. The new party executives’ efforts to further grow and unite the party will be guided by the goodwill, wisdom and experience of the Talba and other elders who are father figures in the state. These elders have made sacrifices and therefore understand the trajectory of the Kwara story. These elders are able to preach patience, understanding, sacrifice and unity in the larger interest of not just the party but the state,” the statement said.

 

“On behalf of my family, the people and government of Kwara State, I congratulate and wish Talba many more years of good health and Allah’s blessings on his 74th birthday anniversary.”
