Eid Celebration: Kwara South Senator, Lola Ashiru Doles Out Cash Gift To Thousands Of Constituents

The Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial district, Arch Oyelola Ashiru has commenced the distribution of Sallah package to thousand of constituents ahead of the celebration this weekend.

Senator Ashiru distributed cash gift to Muslim faithfuls across seven local government areas in Kwara South.

A statement issued by his media office on Thursday, states that Senator Ashiru decided to monetize the Sallah package in order to allow beneficiaries meet pressing needs for a funfair celebration.

"Senator Oyelola Ashiru is getting direct feedback from the people and his decision to monetized the Sallah package was born out of desire to meet people at the point of needs."

The beneficiaries include Royal fathers, community leaders,  elders, party faithful and Islamic clerics. 

The Senator therefore wishes Muslims in Kwara Senatorial District a memorable celebration, adding that he will continue to facilitate sustainable empowerment programmes and impactful projects to every part of Kwara South.
