Professor Abdullahi Mahadi a former Vice Chancellor of the naturally ahead University, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria has been confirmed dead.

Before his death, Prof Mahadi was a renowned historian, accomplished educationist, and distinguished Abusite who served as the 9th Vice-Chancellor and served as the pioneer Vice Chancellor of the Gombe State University.
