AbdulRazaq Commends Taiwo Awoniyi For Humanitarian Services, Investments

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has commended Nigeria's Super Eagles star and Nottingham Forest striker, Taiwo Awoniyi, for his humanitarian services and investments in the state.

In a statement on Friday, July 6, 2023, the governor said Awoniyi has proven to be a worthy ambassador of Kwara State, not just with his impressive football skills, but also with his commitment to the growth of the state through his many humanitarian services and investments.

"Awoniyi has repeatedly contributed hugely to the growth of local football talents by helping young people to shine like him," the governor said. "He has also continued to give back to the communities that raised him in various areas, including education and healthcare."

The governor described Awoniyi as a "great son of Kwara State" who has "typified good leadership and a great connection to his roots." He added that Awoniyi is "a hallmark of philanthropy and human greatness" and that the state is proud of him.
