Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar sponsored bill to establish Federal College of Education (Technical), Kaiama- Abdullahi Yunusa Lade
Following the growing need for technical education in Nigeria, the Distinguished Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar, Chairman House Committee on Rules and Business at the plenary on Tuesday, 12th of November, 2019 moved a bill for the establishment of Federal College of Education (Technical) Kaiama, Kwara State (Est, etc) Bill, 2019 (SB. 151).
Yesterday, the Federal College of Education (Technical) Kaiama, Kwara State (Est, etc) Bill, 2019 (SB. 151) was read for the first time.
When Federal College of Education (Technical), Kaiama is established, it would create more admission opportunities for admission seekers in and outside the state. In addition, it will help to enhance manpower skills among Nigerians.

Having two Colleges of Education (Technical) in Kwara North region, this will not only boost the school enrollment rate of our people, but it will equally enhance the economic growth of the Kwara North region by lifting many people out of the poverty line, and support small and medium scale businesses to grow,”
Admission entries to Technical School in the state is increasing and there's a need to establish more technical and entrepreneurship centres to cater for the numbers of admission seekers
It's important to state that technical education plays a vital role in human resource development of the country by creating skilled manpower, enhancing industrial productivity and improving the quality of life. So, the establishment of Federal College of Education (Technical), Kaiama when established will be the first Federal College of Education (Technical) in the state and it will join the other Federal College of Education (Technical) institutions across the country to produce Nigerians who will drive the economy activities of the country.

ReplyDeletePatigi local government CAFI chapter head their emergency meeting at patigi central school on 11-11-2019 exactly 11:15am.
We are able reasons to say so.
(1)comr.attahiru is not a reasonable person.
(2)is not does not have good political record in patigi
(3)it is not a kind of person that always served for the interest of masses.
(4)it does not have only meeting with existed CAFI structure in patigi
(5)all the information we are received from him,is not a reasonable information
(6)we don't want Godfatherism.
So,we are calling on state coordinator should attend to our request for the peace and harmony.
If possible you want development of these NGO in patigi.
Patigi local government that we came and meet,we known them with respect and peace living society.
We give several calls to comr.attahiru to come down to patigi, to have meeting with existing structure,he feel that is superseded us and whatever he said that is what we can follow,which is not possible.
We want to let him aware that 95% of existing structure in patigi are is not mate in terms of everything(age,academically,politically and morally).
if comr.attahiru doesn't have hidden agenda,he will not utter ruddless,idiot, stupidity and nonsense statement,by saying all existing structure will be dissolved. We are calling on state coordinator that existing structure must remain,if possible you want peace in our their local government.
We are reminding state coordinator that,the promised you made with us to came down to patigi for solving our problem and you refused, don't think that we accepted your reasons gave us(null and void)
For the smooth running and peace of NGO in patigi and if you can't,we are ready to write and took our self to hon.Carr go. request to Lagos.accept assurance of our request.
