VIPs Fete The Herald Boss @58

Double feteing for Yomi Adeboye at the Weekend: The Poet, Writer, Journalist, Editor and Strategic Communicator had a dinner event in his honour to  celebrate his 58th Birthday and his appointment as Acting General manager of The Herald Newspapers.
The dinner was hosted by Oloriewe Raheem Adedoyin- , himself a distinguished Journalist, former editor, former Boss of The Herald and former Commissioner for Information in Kwara state- at his GRA residence in Ilorin.
The guests were treated to a menu of  pounded yam with efo riro and Ofada rice.
The dignitaries at the dinner included Sen. Lola Ashiru, representing Kwara south senatorial District in the national assembly, Arch. Kale Belgore, Senior Advisor and Counsellor to the Executive Governor of Kwara state, Prof. Femi Ogunsola, former Commissioner for Education in Kwara and immediate past member of the federal character commission, veteran journalist, Mallam Tunde Mohammed.

The guests also included the Head of department of History and International Relations, Dr. Bashir Ibrahim, Public Health Specialist, Prof. Babatunde Opabola, the newly appointed acting General Manager of Kwara State Television Authority, Eminent journalist and Director of Information services, Universe of Ilorin, Alh. Abdulganiyu Kunle AkogunPopular  Journalist and Publisher of Tabloid Magazine, Alh. Tunde Bakare, his younger colleague and CEO of Insight Fresh Media, Rev/ Evang Adebayo Olaolu  public analyst Mrs Glory Opeyemi.

Representatives of the youth also joined the celebration. They included John Adegboye, Ahmed Akorede, Saeed Tijjani, Wasiu Toyin,  Moses Adefaye and Sharafadeen Abdulquadri.

Guests at the dinner showered encomiums on the new boss of The Herald for his professional competence, all expressing confidence that he would raise the bar of the newspaper.

Sen. Ashiru commended Gov. Abdulrazaq for appointing Adeboye as interim boss if The Herald, saying" that's a perfect choice
