It was a moment of hope for the family of a less proviledge as the founder of Kayode Adamolekun foundation, Engineer Kayode Adamolekun gift a teenager who is suicide attempt victim, a house and scholarship up till university level.

This is coming as the founder of the foundation is celebrating his birthday, as he note that he want to ensure giving hope to those that feel all is over for them.

David Agunsoye, born on the 9th of September 2003 from Ijebu Ijesha, in Ilesha town of Osun state into the family of five, happened to be the last born of his mother who is now late, he has experience in this pitiful but unfortunate occurrence.

David who look emotionally unstable while meeting this team for the first time upon remembering the black days in his life regreted what he said was laisez faire upbringing by his father, described it as an abdication of responsibilities even after the demise of his mother.

Here is the disturbing story of this young man in his own words, as his mother Florence Agunsoye, a food vendor, died when David was Nine years old, though before the demise of the late mum life was full of challenges.

But the mum finally gave up the ghost following the failure of a microfinance loan arrangement that went sour as she was detained for three weeks by the loan facilitator after her partner absconded with the money and according to David, this was the major cause of her death as she was terribly sick upon her release, as the death of David's Mum led him to be living with his foster mum, Toyin Olaleye.

KAF team was at the residence where David lives with his foster mum, as six members of the family were living in a very small room and parlour apartment in a pitiable situation before the intervention of Kayode Adamolekun foundation.

This among other issues might be the reason why David feel life has not been fair to him, as this situation might give us a brief understanding of what below standard means.

David might engage in some social vices, it is shocking that the father is a party to what has happened to the lad's life, as he never contributed any quota to his life, but once told him to go out and must come back with money, could this be the reason why David steals and after the acts, he feel ashamed and think taking his own life is the only way out to do away with the disgrace.

But here comes the beacon of hope for the family as they got fully furnished apartment, and scholarship running into millions of Naira in the spirit of the birthday celebration of Engineer Kayode Adamolekun.

Leading the delegation to david's family Adamolekun who described the youths as one of the strength of a country, advised the youths to talk to people about their current challenges as he noted that suicide is not the way to go, adding that if they speak to people, there might be way out of their current predicament.

He said his foundation is doing all withing its reach to bring succor to the youths as they are the major target of the foundation, and how ever revealed that the foundation is making a big arrangement to lend its voice against suicide in the country.

He also urged all well todo in the society to try and help the less privileged as that alone will give them rest of mind.

He also note that the official launching of both his upcoming Book and foundation is still coming as it was shifted due to Corona virus that has been ravaging the world as he note that the country will come out strong.

It was encomium upon encomium from the foster family, they were caught unaware, as the foster family were too emotional to alter word but pray for the founder to continue to prosper.

There are many reasons that someone might choose suicide or have suicidal thoughts.

Those reasons are often so complex and complicated that the person suffering from those feelings might not be able to articulate exactly what is going on in his or her head and heart, david school principal was also in attendance.
