CAN Chairman abducted by Gunmen in Nasarawa State

Unknown gunmen have abducted the Nasarawa state Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bishop Joseph Masin.

The bishop was abducted by the gunmen who attacked his residence in Bukan-sidi, Lafia metropolis, on Wednesday night.


This was confirmed by The State Commissioner of Police, Bola Longe to Newsmen in Lafia the Capital of the State.

He said that Team of policemen has been deployed to trail the abductors, and  ensure the safe rescue of the victim, perpetrators must be brought to book He said.

Meanwhile, the vice Chairman of CAN in the state, said the abductors had contacted the family demanding for N20 million ransom.
