EDUCATION: Kwara State goes Digital, Launch Website for Virtual Training of Students

 According to the Kwara State Hon. Commissioner for Education, in a bid to curtail the effects of the covid-19 pandemic on pupils/students, the state has launched its online website to virtually teach students related subjects, while urging parents and guardians to encouraging  their children to make use of the opportunity excellently, 9japarrot reports;

The Kwara State Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Ahmed Fatimah Bisola has again called on parents and guardians in the State to monitor their children for proper utilization of virtual learning platforms facilitated by the State government.

The Commissioner made this call while interacting with newsmen in her office earlier today.

According to her, kwara.edupos.com is a link to an online platform designed specifically for pupils/students of JSCE and SSCE examinations to keep them prepared in spite of schools closure in the State.

Hajia Fatimah therefore appealed to parents and guardians to ensure their children make the most out of the facility.

 while she also inspects some educational facilities across some parts of the states;

In a bid to ensure quality job delivery, the Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has commenced inspection of some completed projects at the various selected schools for renovation/rehabilitation across the three senatorial districts in the State.

A team of the Ministry's officials led by the Honourable Commissioner, Hajia Ahmed Fatimah Bisola and members of Project Management Department of the Ministry were spotted inspecting projects at not less than three schools in the State yesterday, Thursday, 6th May, 2020.

Some of the schools where the inspection took place were Ansarul Islam Secondary School, Laduba, Ikotun Grammar School, Ikotun and Ojoku Grammar School, Ojoku.

The inspection exercise continues today.
