Eid-el-Fitri 1441: Oloriegbe Felicitates With Muslim Faithful, Calls For Modest Celebration

The chairman Senate Committee on Health and the Senator representing Kwara Central at the National Assembly, Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe has felicitated with the Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitri celebration marking the completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

Oloriegbe in his congratulatory message enjoined the Muslim across the nation particularly his constituents to celebrate in modesty considering the fact that the world is just healing from the wounds of COVID-19 pandemic.

The lawmaker also charged them to sustain the virtues of the Ramadan which he said are the best for humankind.

"Ramadan has provided us with ample opportunities to undergo spiritual rebirth which deepened our relationships with our Creator and our fellow human beings.  I believe the virtues demonstrated over the last thirty days are the best for humankind. I, therefore, advise us to sustain them.

"I will also enjoin us to celebrate the Eid with all modesty and never forget to follow all the safety-guides as well as the directives of the government and other related agencies regarding COVID-19 pandemic. May we celebrate more years in bliss and tranquillity."
