Re- Communique Issued After Offa Stakeholders Meeting

Our attention has been drawn to a vicious communique making  the rounds that Offa Stakeholders  has affirmed one Abdulateef Afolayan as the APC Chairman for the Local Government.

For the sake of posterity, therefore, it is imperative we set the record straight so that the general public do not get misinformed by an assemblage of decisive stakeholders whose main objective is to collapse our great party under the pretense of showing loyalty to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq.

In furtherance to this, it is a known fact that we in Offa Local Government support the government led by Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq and we have never relented in our effort to promote his name and his achievements through the nooks and crannies of Offa.

For the posterity of our party in future election, it is important that we maintain the status quo, and to settle any intra party feud that is threatening the unity of the party in Offa.

The general public should be informed that members of APC in Offa stand with Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, and that unity and harmony which is paramount in the progress of our party should be maintained.

If anyone nurses ambition to be the Party Local Government Chairman, let him/her wait till next Congress where all coast will be cleared for any ambition to be manifested.
