Senator Oloriegbe Congratulates Gambari, says Appointment Well-Deserved.

The Chairman Senate Committee on Health and the senator representing Kwara Central at the National Assembly, Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe has congratulated the newly appointed Chief of Staff to the Nigerian President, Prof. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari. Describing the appointment as befitting considering Prof. Gambari’s antecedents and strides as a seasoned academic, an astute administrator, a refined diplomat and peace-loving elder statesman who has contributed in no small measure to the sociopolitical and economic developments of not only Nigeria but across the globe earning him his status as a "global citizen".

Oloriegbe in a statement signed by him extolled the virtues of the cerebral academic cum diplomat saying he is a good catch for President Muhammadu Buhari.

He said the erstwhile UN Under-Secretary Prof. Agboola Gambari possesses the requisite knowledge and experience to aid the President,  with the appointment coming at a critical juncture in the Nations history with record low oil prices and the Corona Virus Pandemic.

The Senator describes the incumbent Chief of staff as his great uncle and a mentor with a  relationship of over four (4) decades. Saying “during my undergraduates days at ABU Zaria, he was a lecturer with the Department of Political Science of the institution. His house was at the time a resort to all of us who were from Kwara. He was a model we all looked up to”

"I thank Mr President for finding him worthy of the position as well as honouring the people of Kwara State with the appointment.
I pray to Allah that He guide and protect Professor Gambari to enable him to serve the president diligently thus ensuring he delivers on his Next Level Agenda.
