The Edo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Paul Ohonbamu, popularly known as Equity, has resigned from office.
In his letter of resignation adressed to Governor Godwin Obaseki and seen by ALEDEH News on Thursday, he said he decided to step aside for the “general good” and “pursuit of happiness” for Edo citizens.
Ohonbamu, who noted that the governor’s second term bid is “firm and surefooted”, thanked him for the opportunity to serve in his “purposeful and sophisticated administration.”
“I hereby tender my letter of resignation as a commissioner in Edo State to His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Obaseki this 4th day of June, 2020,” he wrote.
