Biada Community Ilorin, threatened by erosion caused by a River, calls on State Govt Intervention

Do you remember a renowned prophet of God  staying at Biada Road, Olohunsogo, Upper Gaa Akanbi, Ilorin, Kwara State. He was the Founder of a well known C&S church, Sioni. Our source said, the man got drowned in thesame river as shown below

 

The river has over the years continue to  be a contributing factor to erosion, which leads to washing away of sand and leading to tearing off part of the bridge.

The man was said and confirmed to have died trying to save people from drowning. 

9japarrot learnt that the bridge has been like this for years now, and the occupants has always look forward to the government to help the situation and come to their aids. Our source also confirmed that, The Ministry of Environment once came to take the picture, surveys and so on; but since then nothing came out of it, as there were no any positive outcome.

It is a very sad situation now, because the same river the man was said to have died in while protecting people from drowning is gradually eating up the structure that was erect by him. The roads has begun tearing up bits by bits, if proper action is not taking in the soonest of time, the place would become unmotorable for anybody.

 The church, the man's family, the entire Biada Community and every passerbys are therefore pleading and calling on the Government's quick intervention, they want the govt to come to their aids before the bridge finally collapse, so that the situation will not become worst and led to loss of lives and properties.
