Ilorin Emirate for Unity and Development initiatives (IEUDI), inaugurate New Executives

• As Gov, Emir task new leaders of the association on Unity.

The Ilorin Emirate for Unity and Development initiatives (IEUDI) has inaugurated it's executives to pilot the affair of the association for two years.

The programme which was held at the hall of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union was attended by some prominent sons and Daughters of Emirate in line with strict compliance of the the laid down rules and regulation of Covid 19 by the NCDC.


Making his remark, the kwara state Governor who was represented by his special adviser on Political Alh Sadudeen Salaudeen urged all sons and daughters of the emirate to be good ambassador of their various households and protect the cultures and heritage of ilorin jealously, noting that ilorin is one of the best town created by God.

While stressing that Ilorin has always be at the forefront in the world map, the Governor task the new executives to ensure unity and development as their watch word so as to be part of the factors that will take the emirate to the promise land.

While assuring the entire Emirate to be a good their ambassador of in running the state affairs, he again assured all that government under his watch will be prudent in managing state resources and will not share government’s money to any body but would ensure developmental projects across the nooks and cranny of the state which will take the emirate and kwara state to the fore front.

In his own remarks, the emir of Ilorin represented by the Mogagi esinrogunjo task the association to bring back to last glory of emirate as what is happening in the society now calls for serious concern, the emir also task them to ensure they be their brothers keeper so as for unity and development to strive in the society.

On his part, the chairman of the transition committee, Barrister Razaq Akorede while giving the oath of office urged the new Excos to demonstrate high level of endurance, maturity and contentment, humility and believe as that will make them thrive in their latest task. As he commended stakeholders who supported them in the course of their job as the constitution drafting committee.

Also speaking, the new president Alhaji Yunus Oniboki assured all and sundry of quality and effective leadership as the association under his watch will not relent until it discharged series of good works in line with it's name.

Also speaking in their separate remarks, the chairman of the Board of Trustee Alhaji Hamad Olufadi and another member of the trustee Hajia Nimat Labaika frowned at series of division in the emirate and urged all to join hand and shun politics of bitterness and division.

They also called on parents and guardians to give their wards moral which will aid them in shunning social vices and uphold the heritage of the Emirate.
