It is on this premise that we call on all security agents in the state to give maximum cooperation to the government at fishing out all those who partook in the looting of businesses belonging to hardworking Nigerians. This must be done with dispatch because we can’t leave with criminals. He concludes

In another development;

Ilorin East Community Development Council (CDC) also condemns looting and destruction of properties by hoodlums.

BODUNRIN AARE BABATUNDE ABDULKADIR (Chairman Ilorin East CDC), made this known in a statement he signed and made available to newsmen.

The statement reads;

Ilorin East Community Development Council (CDC) wish to categorically CONDEMN in strong terms, the barbaric action of some youths who engaged themselves in an act of looting innocent citizens’ shops and warehouses under the pretence of protest.

The act is capable of jeopardizing the better future of our young ones, and in turn hinder the social economic growth of our dear state and the nation at large.

We hereby urge our youths as leaders of tomorrow to desist from such act and eschew any form of habit that can stand against them in their future endeavours.

We pray Almighty to guide and guard us all aright.
