Kwara APC hails Appeal Court's affirmation of Rufai's victory

All Progressives Congress (APC) in kwara State has rejoiced with Honorable Adam Rufai for his victory at the Ilorin division of the Court of Appeal on the Patigi Constituency, House of Assembly Bye-election  over the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held on March 14, 2020.

According to the statement which was issued shortly after the judgement on Monday in Ilorin, kwara State by the party,  “We are felicitating with  Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and  Hon Adam Rufai against all the subterfuge and dirty politicking as championed by the main opposition party, PDP, chasing shadows  over trivial issues.

“We hope that with the judicial process now explored, the candidate of the main opposition party, would have been convinced that, the victory of Rufai is the true reflection of the voices of the majority of the electorate of Patigi Constituency on the March 14, 2020 Bye Election and thus formally congratulate Hon Rufai.

“In view of the foregoing, APC Kwara State under the leadership of Governor Abdulrazaq, the state chairman, Hon Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa, the State's Executive and the entire APC members congratulate Governor Abdulrazaq and Hon Rufai for this CoA validation of March 14, 2020 House of Assembly Bye-election victory,” the statement said.
