Deputy Speaker Adetiba Celebrates 45th Birthday In Grandstyle, Doles Out Empowerment Materials To Constituents

Deputy Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adetiba Olarenwaju Raphael today January 16 staged his fifth empowerment program for the people of Oke Ero constituency in commemoration of his 45th birthday anniversary.

The event which took place at Oke Ero Local Government Secretary, Illofa was tagged “Trade and Investment.

It was gathered that the empowerment programme covered all the ten wards that make up Oke-Ero Local Government. 

Under the empowerment scheme, materials like sewing machines, dryers, grinding machine were given to several constituents, just as ten enterprising youths smiled home with fifty thousand naira each as startup capital.

Hon. Adetiba in his address thanked the Almighty God for the great opportunity given to him in fulfilling his responsibility to the people of Oke-Ero Local Government.

“I have always tried my best in responding to my people’s needs,” he noted.

The lawmaker added that it would be recalled as part of his past achievements, 5000 exercise books were given to pupils in 34 public primary schools across the LGA, while 300 indigent pupils benefited from his free 300 school uniform distribution.

He also stated that he sponsored the first 20 pioneer students of Davest School of Health Technology, while also recalling that the provision of farm implements to120 teeming farmers of Oke-Ero descent.

Speaking, Aare Adeoti, APC stakeholder in Oke-Ero Local Government described Adetiba as a quality representative at the KWHA, adding Hon. Adetiba is an accessible man and a good listener.

Meanwhile, beneficiaries of the empowerment programme expressed their joy, declaring the empowerment as timely. 

They all prayed to the Almighty to continue blessing Hon. Adetiba financially.
