#EndSARS: No Rally Will Hold On Saturday At Lekki Toll Gate, Police Warns Protesters

In light of another plan by the endsars protesters to storm the lekki toll gate comes Saturday.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has warned against the planned protest at Lekki toll gate.

He said the planned rally for Saturday at the Lekki toll gate would not be allowed to hold.

The police chief disclosed this while addressing newsmen in the state.

According to his statement as seen by 9japarrot, He said:

“Allowing both groups to carry out their planned protests will be counter-productive. No protest in any guise will be allowed to take place on Saturday 13th February 2021,”he said.


The planned protest by some #EndSARS was announced in a bid to express displeasure over moves to reopen the Lekki toll gate.

The opening of the toll gate was followed in line with the permission by the Lagos Judicial Panel of Inquiry to Lekki Concession Company, LCC, that the Lekki toll gate should be reopened.

Recalls that the toll gate was closed after the October 2020 incident that led to the purported killings of some End SARS protesters.
