Resident Writes Gov AbdulRazaq On Power Outage In Oke Sinniga, Moro LG

A resident of Oke Sinniga, Shao Awon-Ga of Moro Local Government, Ibraheem Kehinde has written to bring the attention of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to the disturbing power outage in his community.

Kehinde, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of MFM Organisation, lauded the efforts of Governor AbdulRazaq while calling on him to quickly intervene in the issue of power outage bedeviling his community.

His open letter is reproduced below:

Dear Sir,

A CALL FOR A QUICK INTERVENTION IN THE POWER OUTAGE

I hereby write by the permission from the One Who gives and takes lives.

Thereafter, appreciating your uncommon commitment to this State of Harmony would be more than a cliché for me to chant about. For, the promises you made are receiving evident actions without regard to discrimination of any types. In view of this, the prayer is that toeing a path of the unrighteousness shall not occasion any of your days in the office.
Of the matter, Sir, this is to bring to your notice that the sectional axis of Oke Sinniga compartment of Shao Awon-Ga, Moro Local Government Area has been in a serious battle with power outage quiet but an age. This axis in question has been experiencing power imbalances right from 2010. And the repairing or replacements of any necessary materials (either stolen or spoilt) have always been singularly shouldered by these great people with slender pocket shape.

May it therefore, please Your Excellency to be informed that the inhabitants in this axis spent two years and months in darkness before they could overcome every type of inconveniency associated with a power cut in 2019.

Hence, in late 2020 again, however, another electrical breakdown resulting from the usual ‘fault-in-transformer’ ensued at this same area. And from then till now, an undeserved darkness has always been the order of the day, that, my people no longer feel the essence of Democracy. Need to say that Oke Sinniga Axis here referred is a constituent of Ebaa JOHA Hotel, Ayewu, God's Mercy Primary School, Omopeninu Estate, Oguns Residence, Agric, Iyadu Street, NEF, Golden Hotel Area, Oju Oja Phase Two, Ikosin Phase Two, Oke Oja, Bolude Phase Two, Ile Epo Express, 5th ECWA Church and many more.

From the foregoing, against the backdrop of this discouraging blackout is an immoral resource for the evil perpetrators - that, at the fall of the nights, many kidnapping and robbery attempts have been made, but with the active efforts of the community armed security men, success has never gone against us. On that note, on behalf of my people, Sir, your quick intervention is sought for either in how the electric transformer would be repaired or how a new one would be installed.

Before the end, this area is averagely occupied by the students of Bartholomew College of Education, students of Kwara State University, Malete, workers of Patec Food And Aquaticuture Farm and some Awongites respectively.

By presupposition therefore, studying has not been easy, human lives have been exposed to dangers as the community itself is far below the compass of politics.

Sir, it is to this end I bring to your notice that these people have reached the end of the road. They have become incapacitated in gearing the vehicle through which the electric stability could come by.

We therefore, call for your intervention as you seem to be the last standing hope we have for this narrative to change about.

Shao will not only hold you in a high esteem if this is done as urgently as we could imagine, we shall equally keep to history the heroic step.

Thanks to you as we expect some responsive action in a short timeframe.

Ibraheem Kehinde ABDULSALAM,
CEO, MFM Organisation
