Eid-el-Fitr1442H: Oloriegbe Calls For Sustainment Of Virtues of Ramadan

 The Senator representing Kwara Central at the National Assembly, Dr. Ibrahim Yahya Oloriegbe has felicitated with Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan as well as the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, enjoining them to sustain the virtues of love, tolerance, and compassion as were dutifully demonstrated during the Holy month. 

The lawmaker in a statement made available to newsmen in Ilorin urged all to renew faith in God and show love and compassion for the less privileged and the downtrodden.

The statement reads, " The last thirty days have allowed us to reconnect with our creator and extend the hand of fellowship to our fellow brethren. However, as we are celebrating Eid, we should not forget the lessons learned - the spirit of piety, alms-giving, and love for one another.

"We should internalize the spirit of sacrifice, unity, and tolerance exhibited during the holy month as these attributes will help foster peaceful co-existence and prosperity in our society and the nation at large."

The lawmaker commended his constituents for their continued support and contributions to his representation that has ushered considerable developments, promising to remain committed to credible representation.
