Group Organises Special Prayer For Kwara Central Senator, As Cleric Admonishes Sustainment Of Achievements

Politicians have again been reminded to justify their elective positions by always responding to the yearnings and aspirations of the masses.

An Ilorin based Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Umar Faruq Shoibul Bayan gave the advice on Saturday in Ilorin at a special Prayer to commemorate the two years in the office of Senator Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe, representing Kwara Central district, organised by the Kwara Central Restoration.

Sheikh Shoibul Bayan charged Senator Ibrahim Oloriegbe to sustain and improve on his achievements which he had recorded in the last two as testified by the constituents.

He appealed to him to always strive to meet the demand of his constituency to guarantee dividends of democracy across the nook and crannies of the Kwara Central Senatorial District.

The cleric implored the lawmaker who is charing Senate Committee on Health to remain grateful to Allah for counting him worthy to be in the position which many have aspired for but were not opportune  

Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh Mohammed Bashir Solihu later led other Ulamahu in the Emirate to Pray for Allah's Protection and guidance for the Senator and have a  Successful tenure in the office.

 The programme which also featured the presentation of the award of Outstanding Performance to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, Senator Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe was attended by the representative of Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRasaq, Senator Umar Sodiq of Kwara North, Members of the Kwara State House of Assembly in Ilorin Emirate, APC stalwarts and Party elders.
