Symbol Magazine To Honour Kwara North Senator, Media Houses, Others

Symbol Magazine, a foremost Media outfit in Nigeria would honour the Senator Representing Kwara North Senatorial District, Senator Sodiq Umar Suleiman at the 2021 Media and Personalities Award programme scheduled to hold in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State.

The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon Salihu Yakubu Danladi is the Special Guest of Honour, and the Head of Mass Communication Department, University of Ilorin, Dr Lambe Kayode Mustapha would give Key Note Address at the ceremony.

The ceremony is with the theme, Press Independence: The Trajectory Of 21st Century.

Other distinguished personalities considered for Award in the edition of the event are, Deputy Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon Adetiba Olanrewaju Rahpeal , Former Commissioner for Information, Kwara State and the Oloriewe of Oro Land, Alhaji AbdulRaheem Adedoyin, Former Commissioner, Kwara State Ministry of Tertiary Education, Hajia Sa'adatu Moddibo Kawu, Cheif( Mrs )Jumoke Gbamigboye, Col Dele Babajamu (Rtd) and some other personalities.

Notable head of media organisations, Media Houses and Journalists would also be honoured for their outstanding performances, and their roles in the development of journalism Industry.
