Ahmed 'Lanre Elected As Kwara NUJ Chairman

Ahmed ‘Lanre Abdullateef of Herald Newspaper has been elected as the new Chairman, Kwara State chapter of Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ).

Ahmed ‘Lanre Abdullateef won the seat with a total votes of 85 out 205 valid votes cast during the election held on Saturday at the Press Centre, Ilorin.

While Abdullahi Dare Akogun of Sobi FM emerges runner up, after gotten a total votes of 75, Fadeyi Adeolu polled 31 votes.

 However, the incumbent Chairman, Umar Abdulwahab of Blueprint Newspaper had just 16votes.
