Gombe Governor Mourns Prominent Suya Spot Owner, Alkasim

Gombe state Governor,  Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has expressed grief over the death of businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Alkasim Mai Nama,  owner of prominent Suya spot in Gombe who died yesterday after a brief illness. 

Governor Yahaya who led a government delegation to the funeral prayer for the late entrepreneur, described the demise of Alhaji Alkasim as a great loss to the state and its people.  

He said the late Alkasim was a gentleman and great philanthropist who will be sorely missed.

The Governor in a statement made available to 9japarrot through the Director General of Press Affairs, Gombe Government House, Ismaila Uba Misilli, conveyed his heartfelt condolences, on behalf of the Government and people of Gombe State, to the family of the deceased and his associates, praying Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannat Firdaus.  

On the Governor's entourage at the funeral prayer were the Chief of staff, Alhaji Abubakar Inuwa Kari,  Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs,  Hon. Ibrahim Dasuki Jalo,  APC chieftain,  Alhaji Buba Sharu and other aides.
