ENetSuD Partners Sheikh Adam Alfanla On “Amanah Kwara” Islamic Lecture Series

The Elites Network for Sustainable Development (ENetSuD) has partnered with Sheikh Adam Abdulmajeed Alfanla on special series of online Islamic Lectures that will center on anti-corruption campaigns in Kwara State (and Nigeria by extension). ENetSuD Coordinator, Dr. Abdullateef Alagbonsi, said the approach of ENetSuD to advance the anti-corruption campaign through religious lectures is aimed at speaking to people (the authors and the victims of corruption) in the language they understand (religion).

Sheikh Adam Alfanla, an Ilorin West citizen, is an employee of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he has been serving as a Shariah Senior Officer since 2015. He is responsible for the Documentation of Sukuk (Islamic Bonds), Syndications and Investment Products.

Sheikh Alfanla had a Bachelor's Degree in Islamic Law (and graduated with First Class Distinction) in 2012 from the Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia. He also had an Educational Preparation Certificate in 2012 from the Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia. 

Furthermore, he had a Certificate of Attendance in 2014 in Seminar Series of Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) Shari’ah Standards from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Institute of Islamic Banking & Finance (IIiBF).

Sheik Adam Alfanla is a Master’s Degree holder in Islamic Banking and Finance from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Institute of Islamic Banking & Finance (IIiBF).

He was certified in 2015 and 2016 as a Certified Islamic Finance Analyst (CIFA™) and Certified Shari’a Advisor & Auditor (C.S.A.A.) respectively.

He is the Founder and Proprietor of Dar al-Nur for Islamic Education and Propagation.
