Senate President, Kwara Gov Lauds Oloriegbe's Representation As He Declares Second Term Bid





The Kwara State Government under the leadership of Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has identified with the laudable milestones of the Senator representing Kwara Central, Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe in almost three years of his tenure in the National Assembly.

 Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq while eulogizing the Senator at the official projects commissioning and town hall meeting held on Saturday at the State Banquet Hall, GRA, Ilorin, said, Oloriegbe had promised to beat the record of his predecessor in four years and three years down the lane, the people of Kwara Central positively felt his good representation.

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq who spoke through his Deputy, Mr Kayode Alabi said, apart from the remarkable achievements of the lawmaker in the areas of Health, Education and Empowerment, the Senator has had eight solid bills of huge national importance passed by the National Assembly to his credit which is unprecedented in the history of the district representation.

He explained that the present administration will not relent in providing the citizens with the right infrastructures and social amenities, believing Senator Oloriegbe's record of excellent representation of the good people of Kwara Central in the red chamber would be difficult to break, urging him to sustain the momentum.




In the same vein, the Nigerian Senate President, Senator Ahmad Lawan commended Senator Oloriegbe for performing to the admiration of his constituents, stressing that the people of Kwara Central were right to have chosen him to represent them.

The Senate President who was elated with the mammoth crowd at the town Hall meeting urged them to stay focused and remain committed to the Otoge mantra by supporting the second term bid of Senator Oloriegbe to continue his good works.

In his remarks, Senator Ibrahim Oloriegbe appreciated all the critical stakeholders for giving him the mandate to serve and promised not to relent in discharging his constitutional duties to better the lots of his constituents.

The medical doctor turned politician charged the people of the Kwara Central not to fall for the antics of the opposition as the era of misgovernance and corruption has gone forever in the state.

Senator Oloriegbe who used the occasion to declare his intention to run for a second term said giving him another chance will consolidate on the achievements recorded in the last three years.

The Programme which featured the commissioning of Idi Isin Comprehensive Health Centre, Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe foundation's office, and Ilorin Emirate Mobile Clinic also witnessed the donation of vehicles to ease the mobility of the women wing of the State APC.

 Among the stakeholders in attendance were party stalwarts led by the State Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, traditional rulers, religious leaders, academics, professional bodies, marketers and others.
