Senate President, Lawan, Kwara Governor, Other Dignitaries To Commission Oloriegbe's Projects

The President of the Nigerian Senate, Dr Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, CON,  is scheduled to visit Ilorin on Saturday, 9th April 2022 to commission some of the landmark projects facilitated by the Senator representing Kwara Central, Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe to his constituency.

This was contained in a statement signed by the lawmaker and made available to newsmen in Ilorin.

Among the projects slated for the inauguration is the Foundation Laying For Drug and Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Center at the newly approved Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Budo-Egba, Budo-Egba Village, Asa Local Government Area.

According to the release, the Nigerian Senate's President, Dr Ahmad Lawan will be the Special Guest of Honour, the Kwara State Governor, His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq will be the Chairman of the Occasion and the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Alh. Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR will be the Royal Father of the occasion while distinguished members of the 9th Senate will be the Guests of Honour.

The statement added that other projects billed for inauguration by the Senate's President include Idi-Isin Comprehensive Health Centre, Idi-Isin, along Okolowo Expressway, Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe Foundation, Alaanuku House, Idi-Isin, Along Okolowo Expressway and Ilorin Emirate Mobile Clinic at the Banquet Hall, Opposite Govt House, Ilorin.

The events would also feature the second edition of the Town Hall meeting which is scheduled to hold at the Kwara State Banquet Hall to engender two-way information exchange to gain a deeper understanding of the ideas and concerns of the constituents and as well strengthen social connections and a representative democratic system.
