Comrade Gold Sympathizes With SDP, Jagunma Family Over Demise Of Ward Secretary

A frontline Social Democratic Party, SDP Aspirant for Ilorin South Local Government, Comr. Ibrahim Sheriff popularly known as ‘Gold’ has commiserated with members of Social Democratic Party, SDP in Balogun Fulani Ward 1, Ilorin South local government and Kwara state at large, over the demise of Mall. Abdulrauf Yusuf (King Photos). 

Mall. Abdulrauf who until his death was the SDP secretary of Balogun Fulani Ward 1 gave up the ghost at the early hour of Saturday and buried at the Muslim Cemetery, Ilorin according to Islamic rites. 

Ibrahim, who paid a condolence visit to the Jagunma family house of the deceased in company of Akanbi Ward 5 Chairman, Alh. Tajudeen Imam, Ilorin South local government Treasurer, Adio Sodiq Orelope and the Asst. Auditor of Akanbi Ward 5 - Abdulrahman Hakeem, described the deceased as “a dutiful and responsible Party man, committed to the development of his community and Kwara state.”

He added that “While we will sure miss Mall. Abdulrauf’s significant roles in building a formidable opposition party that promises to offer a credible and uncompromising political alternative to Kwarans, we submit to the supreme will of Allah, knowing that for all of us, nothing is promised. Not even tomorrow.” 

Ibrahim prayed that Allah SWT forgive his trespasses, especially as forgiveness is promised by Allah during the last part of the holy month of Ramadan when he died and seek fortitude for the family, friends and associates the deceased left behind.
