2023: APC Recognises Support Group Backing Tinubu/Shettima Presidency

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has recognized the Progressive Volunteers For Tinubu/Shettima (PVT 2023), a group backing the Presidential ticket of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Kashim Shettima to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

In the letter dated 17th, June 2022 and seen by 9japarrot Media, Alh. Salisu Yahaya Alfa, APC Head of Support Group/Mobilization, said Abdullahi Adamu, National Chairman of the party, recognized the PVT as a “support group” of the party.

“We write to inform you that the national chairman, his excellency, Sen.Abdullahi Adamu has approved your recognition as a support group of the party,” the letter read.

Speaking with our correspondent, George Udom, PVT National Coordinator, said Tinubu and Shettima are the kind of combinations of Leaders Nigeria needs right now in other to turn things around for good, He said the duo will build on the success of Buhari if elected.

“We deeply appreciate the broadening mobilization and deepening support that PVT and all associated groups working towards Tinubu Presidency, all our grassroots and national leaders, as well as current governors, federal and state lawmakers along with various labor and professional groups will have further significant roles to play post-2023,” George said.

“This is not the time to throw banters at other parties despite that they're trying to troll that part. This is the time for us to re-strategize as a formidable force and ensures that our campaigns are issues based when the time comes".

“Rather, we shall accommodate all towards building a more promising and a better Nigeria where the ideals united by both President Buhari and Professor Osinbajo can be wholly sustained.” He added.
