ADC Assembly Candidate, Stephen Ariyo Awards Full-time Scholarship To Two Ekiti Indigent Students

•Welcome defectors to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Oke-Opin/Etan Wards

The 2023 ADC candidate for Ekiti LG, Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Stephen Ariyo Odeyemi has announced a full-time scholarship for two female students who are indigenes of Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Hon. Stephen Ariyo made this announcement during the official welcoming of defectors from the ruling party, the APC, and the opposition party, PDP  to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Oke-opin/ Etan Wards of Ekiti Local Government Area.

The two lucky students are; Afolayan Justina and Ayeni Abosede.

Witnessing the live event, our correspondent noted that Hon. Stephen Ariyo's conclusion to sponsor the students is not far fetched from his zeal and mission to deliver good governance to his constituents if given the platform to display his capacity if elected as the representative for Ekiti LG Constituency at the Kwara State House of assembly comes 2023 general election.

The decampees who trooped out en mass to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC) expressed 100% readiness to support the party and all the candidates.

dissatisfactions in the ways and manners the current Leaders of the region (assembly, reps, senator) are operating without considering the people of Ekiti in developmental policy among others.

He said till this moment, Kwara South has never produced a productive Leader ever since Senator Suliaman Makanjuola Ajadi represented Kwara South last at the Senate.

On his part, the ADC Candidate for Ekiti Oke-ero Isin Irepodun Federal Constituency, Ekundayo Afolaogun assures the decampees of inclusive participation and encourages them to ensure participating in the forthcoming election without being intimidated by anyone.

Present at the events is Leaders from strategic groups like the Okada Riders Association, and Farmers, among others.

Others who graced the events are party stalwarts from neighboring communities like Irepodun Local Government Area.
