APC Crisis: Alleged Suspension Of Party Leaders Is False - Says Igbaja Excos

 

The executives of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) party in Igbaja Ward I of Ifelodun LGA of Kwara State have debunked the rumors making rounds regarding the suspension of the top leadership of the party.

In a statement by the party bigwigs made available to Just Event Online TV on Friday, the party described the faceless clique as a joke and attention-seeking release.

The statement as seen by 9japarrot Media titled Re: Suspension of party Leaders In Igbaja Ward By a Faceless Clique said the master minder behind the suspension rumor was once a party member but had no significant contributions both in the LG and the party as a whole. 

The statement reads in parts as follows;

"We read with consternation and utter amusement the prank deployed by a faceless clique that Is not only seeking attention but working on instruction from some displaced politicians, formerly of the APC stock. The faceless group wore garments of shame when they couldn't sign the purported document. It, therefore, remains a worthless piece of paper. "

As for the purported suspension of our leaders, it's a case of the hand of Esau and the voice of Jacob. The urchins acting the script are remotely guided by a politician who recently went on an adventure to the ADC. The said politician has a good friend from Igbaja whose son (a neophyte) has been running around to sabotage our party in Igbaja. There is nothing to worry about sir. : 

The boy in question has no significant contribution to the party neither in Igbaja ward 1 nor Ifelodun local government by extension his father. It would be proper to ask what specific contribution has he made to the growth of our party. He is starting his political career as a caterpillardestroying valuable contributions of our leaders. "

"Is It not laughable how a neophyte would suspend an established politician like Alhaji Rahman Owonlyi who at a time was the leader of Action Group (AG) and Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN) for the Igbomina stock in Lagos? A prominent leader and a great pillar of the C.0. Adebayo for Governor in 1983. It would be right to say he, the baby politician is climbing a ladder to reach a thorn tree. "

It's on record that Alhaji Femi Yusuf and Kayode Oyin-Zubair with other appointees from Igbaja contributed to rent a befitting secretariat for APC in our ward. They have always contributed with others to host party meetings long before the advent of the monthly meeting supported by the state chapter of the party. Suffice to add that, their contributions to enhancing the last Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) were not a mean feat. 

The statement further disclosed that SSA to the state governor on Community Intervention, Kayode Oyin Zubair, Femi Yusuf, and other appointees made efforts is securing the befitting secretariat in Igbaja Ward 1.

"It's on record that Alhaji Femi Yusuf and Kayode Oyin-Zubair with other appointees from Igbaja contributed to rent a befitting secretariat for APC in our ward. They have always contributed with others to host party meetings long before the advent of the monthly meeting supported by the state chapter of the party. Suffice to add that, their contributions to enhancing the last Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) were not a mean feat. 

Moreover, they have made various contributions to the development of our communities in this area in particular, and the state as a whole. Are they not worthy ambassadors? 

"While we understood the motive behind the regular baseless accusations from the fifth columnists we members of the enlarged exco of our party put those elements on suspension until investigations into their anti-party activities are concluded. They are advised to stay away from all party meetings in Igbaja and show cause why they should be attending party meetings when they are not financial members."

It i,s however,  the general public was charged to disregard the purported suspension, saying it exists only in the mind of the architect, adding that the people should concentrate on the forthcoming general election and give full support for gov AbdulRaman's reelection come 2023.

"We are proud of our brothers who have committed themselves not only to the growth of our party but to our community in general. Therefore, the unsuspecting public is advised to discountenance the purported suspension as it exists only in the mind of its architect. Igbaja APC is one indivisible house. "

"Our party at the state level is advised to disregard these elements and concentrate on more credible issues like how to garner more votes in our ward and other places than we had in 2019. We remain committed to the Kdeals of our great party (APC) and the progressive government as led by His Excellency, MallamAbdulrahmann AbduiRazaq, Executive Governor of Kwara State."
