2023: Ilorin Agog As Saliu Mustapha Arrives Kwara Ahead Of Campaign

It was a very colorful day on Thursday as thousands of people across the nook and cranny of Kwara central senatorial district troops out to welcome the Turaki of Ilorin Emirate, Mall Saliu Mustapha.

Saliu Mustapha the 2023 APC candidate for Kwara Central Senatorial district arrived at the Ilorin Airport today from a short holiday which he had embarked on months after the APC primaries election.

The arrival monitored live by 9japarrot Media witnessed thousands of people, well-wishers across divides who stand still defying rain and sun to welcome the true son of the soil to the city of Ilorin.

Saliu who was also in the company of one of his major contenders, Yahaya Seriki during the APC primaries cheers the teaming supporters and we'll wishers as their entourage en route to the Emir Palace through different streets across the city.

The coming together of Saliu Mustapha and Yahaya Seriki despite what transpired during the APC primaries is an attestation that the two are fully back together to ensure victory comes 2023.

Arriving at the Emir of Ilorin's palace alongside other party stalwarts, Saliu Mustapha receives a royal welcome and royal blessings from the Emir.

The Emir commended his sterling contributions towards youth and human capital developments as well as community impacts while praying for the success of his aspirations and Allah's guidance over him always.

The event ended with a one-on-one interactive session with thousands of supporters who already have filled the Ilorin banquet hall to the brim waiting for the arrival of Saliu Mustapha.

The Turaki of Ilorin thanks all the supporters for their commitment and sacrifices to ensure that they made it to the hall just to receive him while also appreciating them for their support towards his aspirations.

"Comes 2023 our dream shall become a reality, while we commend the efforts of our current representative in Kwara central, Sen. Yahaya Oloriegbe for setting the pace, we would start from where he stopped and we would do things differently for the betterment of our people," Turaki said while addressing the people.

He commended the Kwara State Governor for his style of leadership and for always putting Kwarans first. Similarly, He thanked the Emir of Ilorin for his fatherly role to everybody Irrespective of political affiliation, and prayed that GOD grant him more wisdom and prosperity.

He added that his campaign will officially begin in a few days while urging all supporters to stand firm and ensure that the campaign is issues based. 

We're confident of winning, and we are sure that even before the election, the opposition will have nothing more to do than to concede defeat, He said.
