In the political history of Kwara South, Prof. Wale Sulaiman, CON, emerges as a unique figure, a self-made man with no godfather, a man with a clear vision and mission,  a son of the less privilege who struggled hard to reach the pinnacle of his career and  has become a figure of hope and restoration for the Less-privileged in our society.

Professor Wale Sulaiman has lived a truly extraordinary life which has been exemplified by his service to humanity. The trailblazer who is an indigene of Ajase-Ipo, Kwara State, born and raised in Lagos in a polygamous family to uneducated and illiterate parents. Within 50 years, the young boy from the slums of Lagos has established himself as an accomplished Neurosurgeon and Researcher, a Professor of Neurosurgery, a Skilled Physician Executive, a Philanthropist, and a successful Entrepreneur. He is the CEO and Chairman of RNZ Global Limited and President of RNZ Foundation. He joined partisan politics to improve the standard of living of his people in Kwara South and to bring dividends of democracy to the region. The political journey has energized thousands to become a "movement of the people, by the people and for the people" The 6 strategic areas of priorities for PWS are- job creations, healthcare, security, poverty alleviation, culture and heritage, and education. Prof. Wale Sulaiman, recently honored by President Muhammadu Buhari with a national honors of commander of the order of Niger (CON), is the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Kwara South Senatorial Candidate.
