Again, Kwara South SDP Candidate, Prof Wale Sulaiman Bags Award Of Excellence In Ajase-Ipo

•Donates N5 Million for Ajase-Ipo Project Development

The 2023 Social Democratic Party (SDP) Candidate for Kwara South Senatorial district, Prof Wale Sulaiman has again been bestowed with an award of excellence.

Bearly less than a month after he was conferred with the Jagunmolu of Esie Kingdom traditional title, Prof Wale Sulaiman CON has been conferred with another Excellence Award by His Royal Highness, Oba Ismaila Muhammed Atoloye Alebiosu, the Olupo of Ajase Ipo.

The event covered live by 9japarrot Media held yesterday, 17th of December 2022 at the Ajase Ipo comprehensive high school, Kwara State in commemoration of the annual Ajase Ipo day. This year Ajase Ipo day’s theme centered on the launching of 500 million naira development fund.

The program which was co-launched by the SDP Kwara South Senatorial Candidate, Prof Wale Sulaiman (CON) had in attendance Kwara south traditional rulers, Royal fathers, teeming SDP supporters, SDP stalwarts and party chieftains, political bigwigs, government officials, high profile personalities, great sons of Ajase ipo land and among others. 

At the event, Prof Wale Sulaiman CON adequately contributed his quota to the fundraising by donating a sum of 5 million naira as a token to support the Ajase-Ipo Developmental Project while reiterating his continuous support towards the growth and development of the ancient town.

Oba Ismaila in his speech said, “ Prof Wale Sulaiman is a proud son of Ajase Ipo land, being igbomina as well. He has been representing Ajase Ipo globally and we are very proud of him”.

The SDP Kwara South Senatorial Candidate in his appreciation speech thanked the people of Ajase Ipo and Kwara South at large for the warm reception and acceptance. 

He further attributed the acceptance to the fact that people are tired of bad leadership and poor representation, hence the people are clamoring for a God-fearing leader who will represent them without any hidden agenda or selfish act. One who would serve wholeheartedly and put the people first before anything which is what SDP stands for.

“7 out of 10 of the Youths in Kwara south don't have jobs and we say we've someone representing us in Abuja? There's a lot of work to be done. If elected as Kwara South Senator come 2023 I have the experience, expertise, and networks to facilitate good health care for our people, jobs for our youths, improve our culture, alleviate poverty and bring development to Kwara South” he added.

The SDP Candidate for Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun federal Constituency, Prince Adekeye Saheed Popoola in his part added that if the election is to hold today, the SDP party will sweep all the elective positions because of the party's wide acceptability across the nooks and crannies of Kwara State.
