Two of the Aspirants in All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election held to replace party's candidate for Magaji Ngeri Constituency in 2023 general elections, Sulaiman Abubakar Sai Kayi and Orire Ibrahim Olarewaju has accepted result of the election and pledge support for the winner- Oba Abdulqadir Magaji.
Sulaiman Abubakar fondly called Sai Kayi described the primary election to replace late Hon Olawoyin Magaji as a family affairs.
The former Special Assistant Political (Kwara Central) to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq disclosed this via a social media reaction to the primary election.
"It's our party affair and I'm satisfied with the process .I remain Loyal to APC and Governor AA (AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq) is our Leader. One person must win in any contest. Barr Oba Magaji is my brother and I stand with him." He stated.
On his part, Orire Ibrahim Olarewaju also congratulated Barr. Oba Abdulkadir Magaji who emerged as candidate of the ruling APC in the just concluded Kwara House of Assembly primary election.
The winner will be replacing his late brother, Abubakar Olawoyin Mogaji, the Kwara State House of Assembly Majority Leader who died on Monday, January 9, 2023 after brief illness.
Orire said, “On behalf of myself and political associates wishes to congratulate you on your well deserved victory at the just concludes primary election. We pray for your success at the poll and promise to support you in achieving your political goals and to become a shining example in the legislature business.”
Oba Abdulqadir Magaji polled 17 votes out of 25 votes by delegates to win the primaries held at Art and Culture Centre, Ilorin on Saturday.
