2023: Kwara South Students Endorse Prof Wale Sulaiman CON

•Students Signs Joint Pact with Kwara South SDP Senatorial Candidate 

The Kwara South SDP Senatorial Candidate, Prof Wale Sulaiman CON has been endorsed by students who are indigents of Kwara South Senatorial district.

The endorsement was done during an interactive session of Kwara South Students with Prof Wale Sulaiman CON which held yesterday at Igbomina House, Ganmo in the Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

The Students Interactive Session organized by the apex body of the Kwara South SDP Senatorial Candidate, Prof Wale Sulaiman titled: Unveiling Of Futuristic Agenda For Kwara South Students and Signing Of Fact is a platform where Students Leaders from Colleges, Polytechnics, and other Higher institutions across the state were able to interact with the Leading contender for Kwara South where issues aimed at emancipating the region from bad leadership are been deliberated on.

The coordinator of Prof Wale Sulaiman Students' Vanguard in his opening remarks noted that the gathering is beyond politics as it is about the posterity of the region.

Kayode in his remarks also noted that the Kwara South SDP Senatorial Candidate, Prof Wale Sulaiman is a man of uncommon capacity and intellectual endowment who is best fit to deliver the Kwara South region from the reoccurring bad leadership.

Reeling out Prof Wale Sulaiman's achievements as an independent person who's not holding any political office, Kayode added that the Kwara South SDP candidate has facilitated numerous projects across the region and has sponsored indigent students in various tertiary institutions across the state.

This and many others of his proven track records have made us resolve that we are going to support his aspirations in totality as the next Senator of Kwara South comes on 25th February 2023.

In his part, Prof Wale Sulaiman CON appreciates the organizer for being thoughtful in coming up with the first of it kind gathering that enables the candidate to interact with students who are majorly youth.

Youth formed the largest percentage of the Nation's voting power according to INEC, and ever since our emancipation movement for Kwara South, we've always been carrying the youth along, Prof Wale Sulaiman added.

The Kwara South SDP Senatorial Candidate also added that when elected, his tenure will focus on youth-centric projects in addition to his already established youth and human capital developments project through his foundations.

He also added that the Youth will not be left out in policy and decision-making that can positively affect the region.

The SDP Candidate for Oyun Ifelodun and Offa Federal Constituency, Hon Saheed Popoola Adekeye in his part encourage the Students to not relent in ensuring that they keep mobilizing for candidates that have all it takes to deliver Kwara South and the State at large from the hands of opportunist political office holders who mean no well for the people. He urged to come out en masse on election day and vote for all SDP candidates.

The event which featured the signing of a joint pact with the Kwara South SDP Senatorial also entertained suggestions, contributions, and advice from various Students Leaders present on how better Kwara South can be developed.

The event was graced by Students Leaders from top institutions like University of Ilorin, Kwara Poly, COED Oro, FUTMINNA, ABU ZARIA, among others.

Also present in the events are SDP stalwarts, Current and past Leaders of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS), and others.
