2023: Shagaya Enjoins Kwarans To Vote For APC Candidates

The All Progressives Congress Candidate for Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency, Mallam Muktar Shagaya has called on Kwarans to remain steadfast in their resolve to canvass and vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the general elections on 25th February for Presidential and National Assembly elections and March 11 for the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections.

Shagaya, during the ward tour campaign by the Kwara Central Senatorial Candidate, Mallam Saliu Mustapha reiterated that the government of APC under His Excellecy, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has been recording unprecedented achievements in education transformation, youth engagement and inclusion in governance, civil servant welfarism, health care services and provision of potable water and road infrastructure amongst others.

“I am elated seeing our people coming out en mass to show their solidarity and support for our party. I call on everyone to stand for APC during the general elections from presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to National Assembly Candidates and to re-elect our Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq alongside the House of Assembly Candidates. We are lucky to Mr. Governor who is committed in rebuilding the state to Kwara of our dreams. All of us will work together to support the state government so as to ensure divideds of democracy reach all and sundry”, he said.

Shagaya alongside Owode Onire Constituency Flagbearer, Hon Rukayat Shittu; Afon Constituency Candidate, Alhaji Yunus Bello Oniboki; Ilorin South Constituency Candidate, Hajiya Fatima Lawal; Chairman Kwara SUBEB, Prof AbdulRaheem Adaramaja and other party stalwarts visited Gambari/Aiyekale ward, Efue/Berikodo ward, Owode Gbogun Ward and Otte-Ballah ward.

The Governor and the Director-General Kwara APC Campaign Council, Amb Yahaya Seriki, also joined the Ward-to-Ward tour to reassure the residents of his administration's commitment towards impacting lives of Kwarans positively.

The APC campaign train paid homage to the traditional leaders, religious leaders and addressed residents in every ward visited.
