Gobir Joins YPP National Assembly Candidates To Campaign In Offa

Gobir Leads the Young Progressives Party (YPP)’s National Assembly campaign in Kwara South

The YPP Governorship Candidate in Kwara State for the 2023 elections, Waziri Yakubu Gobir on Saturday led the party’s National Assembly candidates to campaign in Offa Local Government Area.

Gobir with his running mate, Hon. George Bolujoko and the party’s Senatorial Candidate in Kwara South, Amb. Olanrewaju Abraham, Hon. Ayodele Ayodeji Oluwafemi (Pillar) of Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency and other National Assembly Candidates moved around Offa to canvass for votes.

The YPP candidates used the opportunity to discuss their manifestos and educate electorates on how to vote ahead of the February 25th election. 

Gobir while addressing multitudes of supporters and party faithful said; "I thank the good people of Offa for your unwavering support and warm reception at all times. With thousands of you showing up today, we are reaffirmed that the YPP is deeply rooted in Offa and with the backing of Allah our victory is certain in the general elections."

He added, “I understand that it is very difficult for every Nigerian with the ill-advised and poorly-implemented monetary policies of the APC-led administration which gave birth to the scarcity of Naira notes and fuel in the country; but I implore you to be calm always, law-abiding and not result to behaviour the APC emulate."

Waziri also charged his supporters and party faithful in Offa to intensify mobilisation by taking the YPP message to the grassroots through door-to-door campaigns.
