Kwara Central: Saliu Mustapha Ends Ward-To-Ward Campaign In Grand Style

Saliu Mustapha's campaign train had its last move in Ilorin East local government area .It is significant to say that the campaign train witnessed unprecedented crowd across wards reason being that it is the local government of Turaki of Ilorin, who is also the APC Kwara Central senatorial candidate.

This is not undermining other local governments areas but it corroborates the saying that "Charity begins at home "  .The campaign train began from Apado,Marafa/pepele Iponrin and Agbeyangi/Gbadamu/Oshin respectively.Turaki was in company of Yinka Esho the APC House of representatives candidate for Ilorin East/South federal constituency, Hajiya Fatimah Arinola Lawal the APC kwara house of assembly candidate for Ilorin East and other party faithfuls,where Saliu Mustapha assured them of steady progress, if they vote for him and all other APC candidates at the polls.

The following day which was 16th February, 2023 the campaign train moved to Oke Oyi/Oke ose/Alalubosa,Maya /Ile -Apa,Magaji Are II and Zango wards. The ovation and aura were loud as Turaki engaged voters by telling them the reasons they should vote APC. He also enjoined them to continue the door -to- door, house -to- house campaign. 

On the last day of the campaign tour in Ilorin East the train touched Magaji Are I,  Ibagun, Gambari II and Gambari I. Interestingly, Hajiya Fatimah Arinola Lawal at her ward Magaji Are I stole the show as the slogan " Ajobi nio" rented the air . She spoke eloquently to her people and urged them to vote for Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Saliu Mustapha, Yinka Esho, including herself and all other APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections slated for 25th February, and March 11th 2023 respectively.  Saliu Mustapha after being presented with a portrait also addressed the teeming supporters in clear terms that APC is the party to vote for urging them to vote APC Presidential Candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, himself as the senatorial candidate, Yinka Esho, Arinola and all other APC candidates. 

At Ibagun ward  Arinola Lawal urged party faithfuls, supporters to vote all APC candidates.In the same token, Yinka Esho also admonished the voters to vote enmass for APC candidates all through so that Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq can continue the great works in Kwara.

Turaki of Ilorin Mallam Saliu Mustapha on his part charged party faithfuls and urged them to be peaceful saying there was no need to fight anyone. In the same vein, at Gambari ward II the crowd here was huge as well as a mark of honour for Turaki of Ilorin, he was presented with a sword after which he addressed the gathering. He told the crowd that he was not there to campaign but to remind them that the election is closer so they should begin to reach out to people house -to- house,door -to- door. He said Ilorin East has never produced a Senator so the supporters must work hard to ensure that APC became victorious.

More importantly, the campaign train moved to Gambari ward I, which is the ward of APC Kwara Central Senatorial Candidate Mallam Saliu Mustapha, The joy and enthusiasm in the face of party supporters went beyond mere talking shops as they danced after sighting Turaki of Ilorin and other APC candidates. Earlier Saliu Mustapha had paid homage to Balogun Gambari Alhaji Aliyu Adebayo at his "Fada" to seek for prayers and blessings. Turaki mounted a horse from Balogun Gambari compound towards the venue of the campaign amid jubilation as Sai Saliu rented the air.

Yinka Esho, the APC House of Representatives Candidate for Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency told the party supporters and electorates that APC as a party has given Ilorin East the opportunity to produce a Senator for the first time in the entire history of Kwara Central.He repeatedly told the crowd "Eku orire".He said they should begin to canvass people so that APC would emerge victorious. Arinola Lawal also urged party supporters to be up and doing so that APC as a party can succeed at the polls.Mallam Saliu Mustapha also addressed the party supporters and electorates that APC is the way because the party has given Ilorin East the chance to produce a Senator for the first time. He said he would live up to their expectations and ensured that dividends of democracy got to them.Turaki urged party women and youths to begin house -to- house and door -to- door campaign in ensuring that APC as a party wins.     He said they should vote Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and all APC candidates including himself.He said after voting they should wait at the polling units until votes are counted 

It is important to say that Honourable Alata who has been the moderators at all campaign venues always reiterated that the electorates should vote Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and all APC candidates to ensure the continuity of good governance.He advised party supporters not to allow opposition party wins, because they would return to reintroduce "gerigedi" salaries in the state
