Prof. Wale Sulaiman Becomes the New Pro Chancellor of FUHS, Ila Orangun

His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Prof. Wale Sulaiman, MD, PhD., _CON_ as inaugural Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun, Osun State. 

An excerpt from the official letter of appointment from the Honourable Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu reads:

"*I wish to convey the approval of Mr. President, His Excellency, Muhammed Buhari, for your appointment as Pro-Chancellor of the Governing Council of Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun, Osun State*”

The world-class Neurosurgeon, top Physician Executive, and renowned Academician is seen as an ideal person for this position as he has been recognized globally for his innovative approaches to healthcare education, management, and leadership and he is looking forward to help shape the future of Health Education in Nigeria.

Prof. Sulaiman who hails from Kwara state, expresses his profound gratitude to His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari for this prestigious appointment and feels, “very privileged to take on this role at such a pivotal time in Nigeria”.
