Eid Celebration: Kwara South Senator, Lola Ashiru Doles Out Cash, Packages To Constituents

The Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial district, Arch Oyelola Yisa Ashiru has commenced the distribution of Sallah package to thousand of constituents ahead of tomorrow's Eid celebration.

Senator Ashiru on Monday begin disbursement of cash and other worthy packages to traditional rulers, party faithfuls, relevant stakeholders and thousands of constituents across the seven local government areas in the Kwara South senatorial district.

In a short message released by his media office, Senator Ashiru noted that the gesture will help constituents cushion the effect of subsidy removal which has lead to increase in prices of almost all commodities.

While urging all to celebrate modestly, the Kwara South Senator enjoyed them to imbibe the traits of contentment, discipline, faithfulness, hardwork, selflessness, integrity and patriotism as bequeathed by the noble Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)”

The Senator therefore wishes Muslims in Kwara Senatorial District a memorable celebration, while reiterating that he will continue to facilitate sustainable empowerment programmes and impactful projects to every part of Kwara South.
