First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, Floats New Group

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is set to float a new group, ‘Renewed Hope Initiative’.

It was gathered that the non-governmental group targets vulnerable people, with main focus on agriculture, social investment and healthcare delivery.

The former Lagos Central Senator and wife of Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu, on Friday met with members of the governing board of the Renewed Hope Initiative to finalise plans for its take-off.

Recalls that former first lady, Aisha Buhari, had also floated a non-governmental organisation, the Future Assured programme.

The Future Assured was said to have borne out of Aisha Buhari’s desire to address problems associated with the health and wellbeing of women and children in Nigeria.
