Kwara Gov Extols Ex-AMCON Boss, Kola Belgore At 80

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated the former chairman of the Board of Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) Alhaji Aliyu Kola Belgore (OFR, mni) on his 80th birthday.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Governor through his Spokesperson, Rafiu Ajakaye commended the statesman, who is also the Jarma of Ilorin, for his meritorious service to the nation and to Ilorin as a community.

“On behalf of the people and government of Kwara State, His Excellency joins family, friends and the entire Ilorin Emirate to celebrate Alhaji Kola Aliyu Belgore on this auspicious occasion of his 80th birthday. As a prominent private sector player, one-time public servant, and a community leader, he has given back to the society in huge measures,” the statement said.

“The Governor wishes Jarma Ilorin good health and happiness in old age, as he continues to serve humanity through priceless mentorship to the younger generations in the community.”
