Tourism Is Key To Sustainable Growth, Development- says Akwa Ibom Gov

Tourism is a major component of our developmental blueprint for Akwa Ibom State, as outlined in the A.R.I.S.E Agenda. Yesterday, I kick-started an infrastructural audit of our key tourism locations, including the Ibom Tropicana Mall and Entertainment Center, the Akwa Ibom State Council for Arts and Culture, the Ibibio Museum, and The Ibom Icon Hotels and Golf Resort etc. 

This visit provided valuable insights into our actionable plans to revitalize tourism in our beloved state. I was accompanied by the Deputy Governor, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, the Head of Civil Service, Elder Effiong Essien, the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Sir Charles Udoh, and other prominent government officials.
