Kwara Govt Takes Delivery Of Palliatives To Koro-Afoju (Blind Colony) In Ilorin

 

On Wednesday, the Kwara State Government distributed food palliatives from the federal government at the Blind Colony (Koro-Afoju) in Ilorin.

It should be noted that on Saturday, the state government began distributing an additional 17,578 50kg bags of maize, sorghum, and millet palliatives to assist vulnerable citizens.

The distribution is being carried out by the Kwara State Emergency Management Agency in accordance with the directives of the federal government.

Community representatives, Mohammadu Sanni and Moshuru, praised Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for consistently looking after the people and vulnerable individuals in society.

Moshuru expressed gratitude, stating, "We are thankful to His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for providing us with palliatives in Koro-Afoju. During Ramadan, he gave us rice, semo, and sugar. We appreciate the Governor for always including us in his plans. We are receiving bags of maize, millet, and sorghum."
