The Chairman Senate Committee on Health and the representative of Kwara Central at the National Assembly Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe has celebrated with the Nigerian children on the occasion of this year Children's Day celebration.
Oloriegbe in his message to the children and the parents said: "Children are the most precious gifts which one could ever get from God.
"On today's occasion of Children’s Day celebration, I celebrate with all the children across the nation most importantly from my constituency. A successful transition from your present status made many of us pride of our parents and families. Thus, I want to enjoin you to never relent in making us proud. I want to assure you that your interests will always be prioritized in the scheme of things under this administration because you are the future of this nation."
The lawmaker also advised the parents to continue to strive in giving the best to their children. "The best accomplishment we can record as parents is to have children that will sustain our good legacies and go beyond our own limits. It thus becomes expedient for us as parents and guardians to give all our best to them. Let us nurture them to the peak of fulfilment. Good children are not only the pride of their parents, they are also the pride of their community and the larger society."
