‘A Paragon Of Virtue & Worthy Son Of Ilorin’ AbdulRazaq Exalts Oloriegbe At 60

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has again maintained that his administrations enjoys cordial relationship with lawmakers at federal and state lawmakers from the state.

AbdulRahman disclosed this while attending the book launch of Senator Yahaya Ibrahim Oloriegbe, to mark his 60th birthday anniversary.

The Governor stated that the Kwara central senator and other lawmakers from the state understands the full purport of the Otoge revolution in Kwara state as they have been at the vanguard of the struggle to free Kwara from the clutches of godfatherism. I thank him and others for that, He said.

“We have indeed seen in the 9th Assembly how the legislature does not necessarily have to be antagonistic to perform its oversight duties. Despite Nigeria’s share of the global economic crisis, we have seen steady positive transformations across various sectors like railway, agriculture and telecommunications. This is due to the smooth working relationship between the two arms. The gains are clear, and I urge the National Assembly to continue along this path”, He said.

On behalf of the people and government of Kwara State, I congratulate Senator Oloriegbe and commend the family members who put the work together in honour of his 60th birthday anniversary. It is indeed a befitting present to the paragon of virtue and a worthy son of Ilorin and Kwara State that Senator Oloriegbe is, the Governor said.
